Prodim software – Installation (Dongle)

Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing Prodim software.
Follow the steps below and helpful information to complete your installation.

NOTE
Your Prodim software license is linked to a USB License Dongle (the blue device, as shown in the image below). This dongle was provided by Prodim with your Proliner machine or, if purchased separately, in its own package. You can install the software on multiple PCs, but it will only run on one PC at a time. The dongle must be connected to the computer in use.

Installation / Licensing

1. PREPARE
Start your PC and make sure you have an internet connection.
Plug in the Prodim USB License Dongle to your PC.

Note: This installation will overwrite old versions.
Ensure that the PC (on which you want to install this software) does not contain any previous Prodim software versions that you wish to continue using.

2. DOWNLOAD THE INSTALLER
Click to download: Download the installer ZIP-file

3. INSTALL IT
Unzip and run the installer on your PC with administrator rights.

4. LICENSE IT
Launch the program. A licensing dialog will appear automatically.
Make sure “USB Dongle” is selected and press “Download”.
The program automatically retrieves and installs the license. Restart if needed.

Note: Losing Prodim USB License Dongle means having to purchase a new software license

– Manuals/Tutorials are built-in in into the program.
– Click on the Question-mark icon in the top right corner.
– Choose Manual to read documents or make use of the Inline description (F1 button) and then click on a specific function for a short explanation.
– In addition, consider consulting our online tutorial videos.
