Granite Works Otten chooses Proliner once again

Granite Works Otten, based in Zepperen (Belgium), specializes in custom natural stone projects. The focus is mainly on interior applications, but customers can also turn to them for structural construction projects. The company produces kitchens, bathrooms, floors, stairs, and window and fireplace cladding, among other things. Granite Works Otten has a wide range of materials, including bluestone, granite, quartzite, marble, ceramic, and composite. The family business has existed since 1955 and is now run by the fourth generation. With a team of seven employees, the focus is not on mass production but on quality, finishing, and finesse. Granite Works Otten works for both private and business clients and places great value on good service. In this respect, they aim to distinguish themselves from the rest.

In 2006, the company invested in a CNC machine. However, more and more customers arrived with their own templates, which were still measured manually at the time. Since this was not efficient, Granite Works Otten started looking for a better solution. At a trade fair, they became acquainted with the Proliner, after which they purchased their first device about 18 years ago. Initially, the intention was to only measure templates digitally, but soon the Proliner was also used for other applications. Today, the device is used for virtually all measuring tasks. Recently, Granite Works Otten invested in a second device: the Proliner V9 with the Stone Interior Package.

They told us: “We are very satisfied with the Proliner. The device is very accurate and user-friendly. We also requested information about devices from another supplier, but it quickly became clear that we would choose the Proliner again. We work a lot outdoors, and with other devices, light incidence is often a limitation. With the Proliner, that is not the case. That is very important to us.”
