Rockhampton Agencies delivers custom results with the Proliner
Rockhampton Agencies is a locally owned and operated supplier based in North Rockhampton, Australia, specialising in fibreglass, plastics, timber slabs, and custom CNC-cut components. The company serves a wide region, guided by its “make what you can’t buy” philosophy — offering tailored project support.
Their diverse product range includes building and fabrication materials such as Thermo-Lite Board®, a closed-cell, lightweight composite of polymer foam and fibreglass. This material is widely used for structural applications, insulation, and moulding.
In addition, Rockhampton Agencies offers onsite CNC routing and CAD design services, enabling clients to turn their ideas into reality with precision and efficiency.
The company’s guiding principle is to provide innovative solutions and quality materials for both individuals and professional fabricators, combining hands-on service with the flexibility to tackle unique or one-off fabrication challenges.
Owner John Ashmead invested in a Proliner with the Marine Decking Package about a year ago and shared several examples of how this technology has transformed his workflow.
The first project John shows us is a broken door:
“This broken door was brought to me to cut out a new one. It was parallel at the bottom and then tapered upwards, with ten holes of varying sizes. The Proliner nailed it on the first go — every hole lined up perfectly!”

Another project involved work for a local pool:
“The slots were not centered, so manual measuring would have been difficult. Once again, the Proliner sorted it perfectly.”

John also used the system for boat windscreens and side windows:
“The screen had a rebate top and bottom, as did the side windows for the frame to slide onto. The distance from the outer edge to the rebate had to be exact — or they wouldn’t fit. No problem for the Proliner.”

He concludes: “I’ve done quite a few irregularly shaped windows, and the Proliner works extremely well. I wouldn’t be able to take on many of these jobs without it.”
