Based in Sandim, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, they combine tradition with innovation to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market.
In June 2024, Vidros Sandim took a significant step forward by investing in the Prodim Glass Package, and the results were immediate.
“We first heard about the Proliner from colleagues and saw it in action at Glasstec. It was clear this was exactly what we needed to improve precision and efficiency,” shared Renato and Gonçalo Santos, who now manage the day-to-day operations.
The Prodim Glass Package brought a shift in their workflow, particularly for complex on-site projects.
“The Proliner eliminated errors, reduced time and labor spent on-site, and saved costs. We’re now measuring with accuracy down to tenths of millimeters — even in remote locations,” adds Gonçalo Santos.
Originally purchased for staircases and balustrades, the Proliner quickly became essential for other jobs, such as measuring built-in mirrors and custom kitchen glass.
“We now use it for almost everything. The precision and speed have transformed our workflow,” says Renato.
