Indu-Con masters 3D measurement with the Proliner
Indu-Con is an industrial sailmaking company with two locations. One facility is based in Grou, the Netherlands. The other one, which handles production, is located in Útca, Hungary. The Dutch branch employs around ten people, while approximately fifty employees work in Hungary. The company was founded in 2013 but has around forty-five years of experience, as some of its team members have been active in the industry since 1980.
Indu-Con initially started by making bouncy castles and ice rink boarding. Nowadays, they manufacture everything imaginable from canvas and PVC, with a particular focus on glamping tents, which are currently very popular.
Since measuring 3D shapes can be quite challenging, they were looking for a solution. Through word of mouth, they heard about the Proliner and quickly decided to purchase it. They opted for the Marine Canvas package and started working with it right away. They are convinced that the Proliner offers even more possibilities and will open new doors for them in the future.
Theo Terra: “We mainly chose the Proliner because existing 3D shapes are difficult to measure with traditional measuring tools such as a tape measure or ruler. The Proliner provides the perfect solution for this. Moreover, the device is highly accurate and fast.”
