TidalWorx Finds the Perfect Fit with the Proliner Decking Package
TidalWorx, based on the Isle of Wight, has been creating custom EVA foam decks and providing vinyl wrapping services for the marine industry across the U.K. As the U.K’s exclusive distributor and installer of U-Dek, they pride themselves on delivering comfortable, durable, and low-maintenance decking solutions for all types of vessels.
However, as the company grew, so did its challenges. Initially, TidalWorx used 3D scanning for measurements, but the process of converting scans into usable CAD models became time-consuming and inefficient. This slowed production and added unnecessary steps. That’s when they decided to switch to the Proliner Decking Package.
“The accuracy of the Proliner is incredible,” Jamie Saunders and George McFarlane of TidalWorx explained. “It’s fast, easy to use, and packed with features that have truly streamlined our workflow.”
By switching to the Proliner and combining it with the Prodim Factory Decking software, TidalWorx significantly reduced the time spent templating, designing, and preparing cut files for CNC machining. Not only did this boost the efficiency of their custom decking process, but it also allowed them to expand into new applications. They now use the Proliner for templating window orifices in shipbuilding, creating material kits for sailboat manufacturing, and even exploring vehicle templating for paint protection film (PPF) application.
“We’re thrilled with how versatile the Proliner is,” Jamie added. “It’s transformed our business, and the support from Prodim’s team has been invaluable. Special thanks to Jorge, Karin, and Matteo for helping us get the most out of the Proliner—we’re incredibly grateful.”
For TidalWorx, switching to the Proliner has been a game-changer—enhancing precision, speeding up workflows, and opening the door to new opportunities in the marine industry.
